Love to Africa

Celebrating Christmas and receiving a gift is always one of the best memories anyone can have as a child. In 2008, we were on a trip in Africa visiting villages and a local pastor asked us if we knew how to help them receive gifts that they could distribute to the children in their communities, as most of the children in Africa have never received a Christmas gift before, let alone any gift at all! It was on that trip that we realized how we could share love to the community by way of Christmas gifts, and we answered the call by creating the Love to Africa program. We started with gift distribution in one country and have grown to distribute over 10,000 gifts in 13 countries across Africa by 2020.

In 2021, we supersized our love! Aside from the 13 countries across Africa, we added two more Southern Asia countries—Cambodia and the Philippines! Because of donors like you, we delivered 15,000 gifts to 15 countries! Thank you for your generous giving. Watch the recap video below to celebrate with us for this great achievement!

Our approach

Our goal with this program is to bring joy to the children of Africa by giving them the gift of a Christmas gift, but more importantly, giving them the story of Jesus. We want the children and their families to meet Jesus through our act of love in gift distribution to their family and communities.

what does a gift include?

We want our gifts to bring joy in the following ways:

to the children (such as toys)
to the parents (such as clothing or rice and beans for the family)
enrichment (such as school supplies, notebooks).

A typical gift that each child receives will include one of the following items in the categories mentioned above, as well as a delicious snack and juice box to accompany.
